Hi this is my Blog if anyone is interested enough to follow it! I have been requested to do this as I am off to India with Simon stokes on 15th of this month and have been asked to write a blog. I will try and keep it interesting so as not to loose all my followers (ha ha).

You may be wondering how this trip came to be basically Simon has been before and was asked to go back. His wife was going to go with him but had to cancel as Michael Gove decided teachers were not allowed time off from school during term for any reason except death (their own not a relative) Ok maybe exaggerating slightly. Simon is registered blind and so was going to call the visit off and me with a few pints of Dutch courage in me (is it still ok to use that metaphor or is that racist?) decided to offer to go with him. So here we are tickets booked jabs taken place and sun cream bought!

What this trip will involve I  don`t really know but we will be for the greatest part be staying with local people in what we would class as fairly basic conditions. Mymost worrying moment was when Simon asked me what my preaching was like. I replied that I don`t do preaching! His reply "you had better get used to it then"!

I will try and update this on a daily basis but may not always be possible with internet I understand a little sketchy especially in rural areas if you don`t want to follow me that is fine I can handle rejection!
