Hi early start today had to be in church at 930. Once again a noisy start there is a celebration as is the birthday of a politician who is now deceased who did a lot for Bangalore their way to celebrate is to play music very loudly! There was also a shrine see picture.
First service was held and there were around 30 I gave a testimonial but did not do very well I lost my train of thought half way through and never seemed to get it back. After the service lots of people came forward for prayer. Found very hard on lady came forward with a little baby aged about 18 months but very small for age. Hss been treated for blood cancer now been told is terminal. As far as I could make out just sent home and baby seemed in pain. Advised to go to doctors but don't know if will. The boy is called Deno if you want to pray.
The second service was about 3 hours long and again lots of requests for prayer. We could understand very little of what was being said but paster Gladson was telling us the main bits.
On the way out we found a Hindu god sitting outside the church (a cow) we think may have been trying to get in to be converted(see picture).
When we came back had lunch then had a nap. Then went to the Anglican Cathedral which was in English and we knew most of the songs. We then went for a Dominoes Pizza the menu is far more spicy than in the UK!
Then back to watch TV and write my blog for all you lucky people
Thanks for sharing, I find it all very interesting.
